Welcome to the website of Reliance Mutual Insurance Society Limited. Reliance Mutual is a long established life assurance and pensions provider, having started life in 1911. As the name suggests, we are a mutual society, meaning that we are owned by our member policyholders - we have no shareholders.

Reliance Mutual is committed to the ethos of mutuality and today looks after over £1.6bn and over 200,000 policies. We are committed to providing a quality service and products for our customers and pride ourselves on our friendly and professional service. Annual General Meeting
Members eligible to participate in the AGM will receive a letter explaining the process approximately one month before the meeting. For information about the AGM and the location of the meeting to be held on 23 May 2013 please click here.
To vote online, members eligible to participate can click on the voting button on the right before 2:30pm on 21 May 2013. Members will need the following information to vote online; which can be found in the letter explaining the process in the middle of the Proxy Voting Form in the box entitled Online Vote:
- Voter Reference Number (VRN)
- Personal Identification Number (PIN)
Policyholder Scheme Vote 2012
Our Scheme of Arrangement was approved by our policyholders at the meetings on 31 May 2012, and sanctioned by the High Court on the 28 June 2012. For more details please click here.
